Erin solidifies her place as the number one female in mixed martial arts by her first round KO of Marlose Coenon (Holland) in the SmackGirl 8 woman tournament held on December 19, 2004 in Shizuoka, Japan. Marlose was currently #1 in the world w/ a pefect 11-0 record.

Started studying under Joe Moeriera in 1997-98. Currently trained by second degree Black Belt, James "Avalanche" Boran. James was one of Rickson Gracie's first American students. James was awared his blue and purple belts by Rickson, Royce and Royler Gracie. He was awarded his brown and black belts by Professor Joe Moreira in 1997 and awarded a first stripe by Carlos Augusto in 2001. Erin was awarded her purple belt under Professor James Boran in August of 2002. She is working towards her brown belt. Erin is currently training under Paulo "Junior" Gazze.
